Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a seasoned stick-and-string veteran, the Sasquatch Showdown is designed to push your skills to the limit in a true mountain setting.

🏹 Choose Your Course

We’ve mapped out three distinct trails to ensure every archer finds their perfect challenge:

• • The Bighorn Course (Recreational): 15 Targets - Designed for those who want to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Sandia Mountains while shooting world-class targets. This course features moderate distances and fun, realistic hunting scenarios.

  • The Ibex Course (Most Difficult): 20 Targets - Long shots, extreme angles, and maximum effort. This course is designed to test both your gear and your endurance. Includes roughly 3 miles of steep, challenging mountain hiking up and down rugged terrain—come prepared with proper hiking footwear, hydration, and stamina!

• • The Sasquatch Course (Recreational): 15 Targets - Ready to track down the legendary Bigfoot? This course is all about pure, laid-back fun! Whether you're aiming for a personal best or just enjoying the trail with friends, take your time and enjoy the shot—no pressure, no competition, just great archery. 

🏔️ Event Logistics

• Location: Sandia Peak Ski Area, New Mexico.

• Terrain: High-elevation mountain hiking. Sturdy boots, hydration packs, and sun protection are highly recommended.

• Gear: All bow types are welcome, but be sure your sight tapes are dialed—the mountain air and steep grades change everything!
